Tis the season for food, friends, and making history by permanently situating yourself in someone's photo book. Photo season is here!
Even the most innocent holiday dinner can turn into a photo shoot. So, be prepared.
1) practice your smile in front of a mirror
2) have someone take a test digital photo of you before you get to the party (seriously this may sound obsessive, but I, and many others do this)
3) Make sure that you makeup is camera ready

This is an excellent tutorial for glamming it up with makeup in 5 minutes. You'll find some important steps that some of us skip.
For example, always darken or fill in your eyebrows.
This frames your eye and sets the tone for eye makeup.
Also, line your lips.
In situations where you are eating, a lip liner can save you from smudging around the mouth. It keeps your lipstick in place.
It's untrue that you should just apply more of you regular makeup when it's photo time. Choose shadows that have more pigment, but use the same amount. So instead of Lilac - use dark plum.
