How to Sell Unwanted Jewelry and Clothes Online

MONEY

In case you haven't heard, things in Material Girl Land aren't so great. Stores such as Barney's just slashed the price on a bunch of Prada wallets and the sales people that pedal luxury-brands are seriously freaking out.

If you are anything like me - I couldn't give a fat rat about Prada right now. Yet, you have a bunch of luxury brand stuff glaring at you every time you go into your closet. It's like the stuff speaks to you and says, "if you hadn't bought me, you'd have so much extra money right now."

So, what to do about the guilt of these misappropriated funds?

Sell the stuff!!

Jewelry-selling websites like IDoNowIDont.com and Redswan.com reported record sales last month. Selling old rings directly to consumers — instead of wholesalers — can sometimes yield up to half of the original price.

Second hand stores are also reaping the rewards of this recession. Sell your clothes at your nearby store or sell them on E-bay. From my person experience, you will probably do a bit better on E-bay.

I know that the concept of unloading your pretties may seem a bit depressing but, be strong, my material girls. Eventually, the economy will come back, and by then, you will have plenty of space in your closet that will need to be filled with new beautiful things.

Remember that the material world is nothing but a distraction from real life. Your real life and your real security are what really matters.
